First of all…..

Hello everyone!
This is my first blog post so I am going to start off by introducing myself. I’m a nineteen year old girl who lives in Lagos, Nigeria. This year officially marks the end of my teenage years. The transition is scary in a lot of ways. 5 years ago, my worries were puberty, clothes to wear, TV series to binge watch etc. Now, my mind wanders to thoughts like ‘what am I going to do with the rest of my life?’, ‘what impact am I going to make in this world with an estimated population of 7.5 billion people (wow) with so many bad things going on like Boko haram, ISIS, recession, and most recently ASUU strike (na to just go learn work o!).

So this blog is going to be mainly about two things. Can you guess?

Two of the great things in life…

BOOKS AND FOOD. ( Drumroll pls)

I love reading books. Loosing myself in a good book is one of the best feelings ever. It stimulates your imagination. So expect book reviews, recommendations, posts about great authors and book related topics. I like to call myself a budding writer so expect some short stories too 🙂

I’ll also talk about food…who doesn’t like food?  I get way too much hapiness from good food. Even Esau in the Bible sold his birthright for a plate of pottage (**clears throat**).  So, expect recipes, details about ingredients used in cooking, herbs and anything food related.

I’ll also talk about random things like reviews of films, TV series( game of thrones anybody?), health tips, random musings of life, travel etc. Thanks for reading and have a blessed, favour-filled week and don’t forget to comment.
